Why Pookin you may ask, it’s a rather ridiculous family nickname that stuck, my real name is Caroline.  I am a designer and web developer living in Bridgend in South Wales with my 2 wild and wonderful children.

Design for me has always been a source of joy and wonder.  Growing up I loved to sketch faces and paint.  This natural inclination led me to a career in graphic design.  After freelancing for 5 years I landed a dream job working in the greetings card industry,  I designed giftwrap and greetings cards for the UK high-street.  Creating surface patterns and playing with colour palettes is something I love to do.  I am especially interested in typography which is often a recurring theme in my work.  Most of all I hope to create work that makes people smile.  

Besides from my love for design some of my favourite things include; swimming in the sea, listening to podcasts, cooking for friends and having adventures with my children.
